Inspired by the Lebanese heritage of our founder and head chef, George Noujaim, Noujaim’s Mediterranean Cuisine brings the vibrant flavors of the Mediterranean Basin to the U.S., with a diversity of packaged foods available for wholesale purchase and distribution across all 50 states.
Our food is lovingly prepared in our state-of-the-art, USDA-certified manufacturing facility, located right next door to Noujaim’s Mediterranean Bistro, where New Englanders from near and far have been coming for decades to indulge in the culinary talents of Chef George. Noujaim’s Bistro is consistently recognized as the Best Mediterranean/Middle Eastern Restaurant in Connecticut by experts and patrons alike.
In 2007, the Hartford Courant praised Noujaim’s as “the most exquisite traditional Lebanese fare this food writer has ever enjoyed this side of the Levant.” Chef George and his recipes are featured in The Ralph Nader and Family Cookbook: Classic Recipes from Lebanon and Beyond. Nader, who has long frequented Noujaim’s Bistro, acknowledged Chef George “for taking Lebanese cooking to an art form.”
Noujaim’s Mediterranean Cuisine has expanded the reach of our recipes to restaurants, specialty markets and delis, grocery stores and other locations across the U.S., with the same level of quality and flavor as if they were being enjoyed in our own kitchen. In expanding our operations, we have taken special care to construct our manufacturing facility, equipment and processes around our beloved recipes, rather than modifying them for efficiency purposes. This philosophy is the reason our products taste different – far better and far more authentic – than the mass-produced Mediterranean foods on the market today.
